Silk Fabric Scrap Grab Bags
Each bag is filled with high quality silk dupioni scraps in a variety of colors. I regularly sell these assortments
on eBay for between $25 and $50 depending on the number of pieces, but due to my school schedule, I just don't have time to
measure each piece, and do weekly eBay listings, so am offering these scraps on my website as grab bags at a discounted price. The scraps come from a manufacturer of high-end women's clothing, and may have small holes from being stapled together when the garments are cut out. Most of the pieces are perfect, and without holes. The grab bags are being offered in 3 sizes---10 piece medium sized pieces, 15 piece small sized pieces, or 20 extra small sized pieces. If you are interested in larger pieces, let me know--I have larger scraps, and small yardage (1/4 to 1/2 yard pieces). For the 10 piece assortments, I will try to accommodate general color requests for (ie--I prefer spring colors, or autumn colors) but if you want a hand selected color assortment, there will be a $10 fee added to the assortment. I also have one assortment of lining fabric, shown after the silk.
10 Piece Medium Silk Scrap Grab Bag $15.00
Included in this grab bag of
slik dupioni scraps are 10 medium sized pieces--sizes will be in the
range shown--12" ruler in photo gives you an idea of size. Two
different assortments are shown to give you an idea of the colors you
might get. Each assortment is unique, and colors may vary from those
that are shown. These scrap sizes are suitable for most 1/6 scale work, except very full skirted dresses/gowns.
15 Piece Small Silk Grab Bag $15.00
Included in this grab bag are 15 pieces of silk dupioni in assorted colors and patterns. 12" Ruler in photo gives a general idea of the
sizes you will get. These pieces are suitable for sheaths, skirts, pants, tops, and contrast/accent pieces. Each assortment is unique, and colors will vary from those shown.
20 Piece Extra Small Silk Grab Bag $8.00
Included in this grab bag are 20 extra small pieces of silk dupioni in various colors/patterns. These pieces work well for
purses, hats, accessories or fashion contrast. Some will also be large enough for pencil skirts or tops. A 12" ruler is shown for scale.
Lining Fabric Grab Bag $12.00
34 generously sized pieces of lining fabric in a large variety of colors--I only have one of these assortments, so grab it while you can--almost two pounds of fabric!
